Hundreds of photos depicting sweaty gurn-filled rock action. It's not for everyone, but we document pretty much everything we do as a band. That way you don't even have to be there.

the Cathode Ray Syndrome* or just plain old CRS* to those that make miniature flyers, formed many many moons ago. practicing by telepathic connection, they meet in person only to play famously shambolic gigs. there are quite clearly four of them, ranged around the country. that is fact.
Over the years, the band made three records - an eponymous debut, the 7-track follow-up 'Use Forgotten Tools' and 'ARGH e.p.', their latest offering released earlier this year. Check the website for details on how to get hold of them.

The Cathode Ray Syndrome (or CRS) contains four members, hailing respectively from London, Cambridge and Brighton, and who “meet in person only to play famously shambolic gigs” (according to the MySpace). The band’s third proper ...
CRS* New Recording. It's about time...
We just arrived back from an amazing week in Cambridge, having taken over an empty house and set up a makeshift studio. Man, we had fun. All of this was masterminded by Tom Bryan, who recorded our previous effort "Argh!".
We managed to record three tunes, and they'll released soon as high quality format download only. Details soon come.
In the meantime, the tracklisting is probably as follows: Off the Beaten Sidetrack // Sound collage // He Ain't my Brother, He's Heavy // George Mild.
Having unapologetically decided we're a prog band we attempt to take you, the listener, on a "journey". Pretty sure that's the exclusive remit of proggers, so we had to settle on that genre.
We'll sort the masses of photos soon, but to whet your appetite Facebook users can most likely see some images here and here. A substantial proportion of the photos are of food, but don't be put off.
Update soon come once mixing and mastering is done, and we've decided on a suitably irreverent/irrelevant name.

6th Dec: Ciarafest... be there.
We're playing Cambridge for what's probably the last time this year on Saturday December the 6th at the Portland Arms. We're proud to have been asked to fill the headline slot of Ciarafest 12. For those of you who haven't seen one of the 11 shows that have already been organised, Ciarafest raises money for Premrose - a charity that donates supplies and equipment to the Rosie Maternity hospital. Previous nights have raised over 5 grand and we're really excited to have a chance to help bump this total up even more.
As if all that wasn't worthy enough, there are 3 fantastic bands playing with us: The Tupolev Ghost, We Rock Like Girls Don't and The Last Dinosaur, all of whom are well worth the £6 ticket price. We Got Tickets aren't taking a booking fee, just a small amount for costs, so we recommend you buy tickets with them.
This should be a really busy night and Ciarafest events are not to be missed, so please come and feel free to invite anyone else that might be interested.

Cambridge. Rock death. The end.
A weekend of rock goodness is over. We all gathered in Cambridge for a loverly knees-up at the Barfly, where massive benders and good friends the Broken Family Band plied their wares. Next day after a short practice we played a big fun night at the Portland, with The Tupelov Ghost and Betty and the Werewolves.
We were pleased to see a lot of friendly faces, pleased to make it through an unprecedented 45 minutes of vein-popping rock workout, and pleased to find ourselves dancing to Ini Kamoze before the night was officially over. Photos and a brief reminisce can be found inside.
