this gig was anticipated by us all for a looong time. it's always fun to play with lapsus, and after the aereogramme cancellation i think this was the first gig for about 6 months.
soundcheck sounded alright. things worked fine. onstage with special lapsus anagram tshirts. all singe up usa. anal pussi glue. i gulp anus ales. up u alien slags. one song in, my guitar was busted. resorted to callum's spare BC rich, unwittingly looking a bit of a gimp with a white Metal guitar. i fuck up lots more and my guitar comes unplugged in about everyway i can think of. then it's the end.
NO. when everything came together our sound was spot on. paticularly in solutions... i think, and the latter half of the set. i still think this set could work nicely. maybe for our next gig somewhere that's not cambridge.
