i can't remember this gig so well. i remember what i thought of lapsus and econoline (the two most ill-suited bands ever. ear splitting mentalism alongside coma inducing boredom). i saw econoline once before and thought they were alright, but they just turned out to be muso wanks. the type of fucks who care more about people in bands than music.

i chatted to members of lapsus for as long as i could, but apart from the soundcheck, i didn't get to witness them live. since then, we've got a couple of their cd's and champion them when we can. i'd like to see them properly, and they wanted to invite us to play in glasgow if we were up for it. i say leave now.

our set was good. a lot of math-tastic rock items. i guess lapsus liked the crazier end. princess-x sounded great out of the new sample, with a lot of people commenting on the "new direction". we've never had one of those before - Arthur

after lapsus came off everyone was smiling. they rocked. somehow we all ended up round dotty Bs house where we discovered they are officially the coolest people in the world. truly truly good peoples. they even helped make fun of simon's vacuuming of carpets and turning down of music. there's too much to tell from that night, but get their ep, that is all thankyouverymuch
